Oktoberfest Mixed Doubles Tournament---Results.   
We had 40 doubles teams participate.
 
Mike Bunyard, Tournament Director, did a tremendous job of setting up the matches.  All players got in at least 3 rounds of 8 game pro sets.
 
Jack Henricks had the MIKE SCHAACK PHYSICAL THERAPY tee shirt list all in order.  Kathy Schaack was kept busy  distributing them to each player.   
 
Dianne Wagoner, along with her helper Whitney Bried, had all the food prepared and set out in a timley manner and it was thoroughly enjoyed by 100 hungry people.
 
Thanks to all who helped in any way to make this event the big success that it was.

WHEN:    October 18th (Saturday)----check-in:  8:30 A.M. until--- all matches completed
 
WHERE:  LHTG Tennis Courts
 
FORMAT:  8 Game Pro Set---first team to get to 8 games wins the match--minimum of 2 matches to be played
 
HOW:       Sign up as a doubles team---combining each player's rating (USE RATING FROM LHTG MEMBER ROSTER)
                  There will be 6 brackets--starting at 8.0 down to 5.5.
                  Entry fee is $10.00 per person or $20.00 per couple.  INCLUDES:  Full Oktoberfest buffet, balls and prizes

                  NOTE:   CUTOFF DATE IS:    October 11, 2008
 
An added feature---should you not have a partner and want to play, send your name and rating to Mike Bunyard @ mdbunyard@sbcglobal.net.  He will attempt to  match you with a tennis partner of similar rating.
 
This year, we have a group who will supply each participant with a tee shirt.  When sending in your name and rating, also send in your SIZE and GENDER and we will try to get the proper size of shirt for you.  To insure your getting the proper size, you must have the information sent to JACK HENRICKS (see above) no later than October 9th.  Sizes range from small to extra large.
