The Lincoln Hills Tennis Group (LHTG) provides
Sun City Lincoln Hills (SCLH) residents with an organization which offers
competitive and social tennis activities.
The LHTG was organized and is now managed by volunteers with a passion for
tennis. LHTG utilizes the outstanding SCLH tennis facility which has
11 tennis
courts, all with first-rate lighting for night play, and is supported by a
facilities staff who keep the courts and facilities in excellent shape. There is
an adjacent Sports Pavilion, with food preparation and dining areas, which is
shared with other groups.
Annual LHTG membership dues are $12 per member and this entitles members to emails on group activities, an LHTG Member Roster, and
access to other LHTG sponsored events and activities.
The LHTG fosters competition and social interaction among its members. Within
the LHTG there are two committees which serve to oversee the tennis activities.
The Competition Committee organizes and/or oversees tennis tournaments, league
teams and other competitive tennis activities. The Social Committee organizes
and/or oversees social activities such as drop-in tennis, tennis mixers
including our annual Valentine mixed doubles mixer, luncheons, potlucks, ice
cream socials and other social activities.
Social drop-in tennis
on Wednesday and Saturday mornings is open to all SCLH
residents. The drop-in presents resident tennis players (and their guests) the
opportunity to meet and play other players of mixed skill levels. It provides
fun tennis for everyone and is an excellent way for new residents to meet and
play others sharing their passion for tennis.
